A docu-drama (biography) of Cito Gaston career and life. The #screenplay… Starts with him at ceremony winning Manager of the Year after winning 1992(or’93) World Series (of baseball). Then back tracks to dramatics of early life in MLB leading up to wins. Ends with high-lights reel of Toronto Blue Jay’s winning… with teleplay (notes on screen) detailing that even though Cito was an accomplished manager. He wasn’t recognized for his achievements. Then go on to say that new training camps have been opened to encourage diversity within the MLB #DiversityIsOurStrength
I wouldn’t be comfortable doing this project as my demographics are not ‘diverse’ and would fear back-lash from the writing community for ‘cultural appropriation’?
